Silent Sky - Ford's Theatre, Washington DC

Sunday, February 16, 2:00 pm

By sheer coincidence, Ford's Theatre is producing the play, Silent Sky, which tells the story of Henrietta Leavitt, one of the character's featured in the BWC's February Book Club selection, The Glass Universe.  Ms. Leavitt was one of the human computers employed at the Harvard Observatory at the start of the 20th century to map the stars.

Depending on the tier of seating prices for the Sunday matinee range from $38 - $72 per ticket.  However, if there are a group of at least 10 attending, we will qualify for a group discount and the ticket price will range from $31 - $58 per ticket.  Sarah Martin '93 and her husband definitely plan to attend.  Please contact Sarah, smartin4@wellesley.edu, if you are interested in attending as well.  The deadline to reach out to Sarah is Jan 6, 2020.
